Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, a leading landscape services company, is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across various properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial-grade equipment safely, and help maintain plant materials and landscape features.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely work with landscaping equipment.
• Comfort with outdoor work in varying weather.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers, trim and edge with gas-powered tools, and operate a gas-powered blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape or growth and remove damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Pick up trash and blow leaves before mowing.
• Mulch leaves and organic matter when mowing.
• Weed manually or with hoe.
• Perform basic maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Remove trash, dead plants, and suckers from landscape.
• Maintain polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
