Job Description – Overview

We are looking for an experienced Landscaper to join our groundskeeping team. This position requires a professional landscaper with prior on‑the‑job experience and knowledge of plants, trees, etc. The position is located on our company’s corporate campus in Oklahoma City.

Starting Pay: $20.15 per hour.

Start Time: 7:00 am, Mon‑Fri. Work schedule includes weekends as necessary.

Requirements

• Previous on‑the‑job experience is required
• Knowledge of a wide variety of plants, trees, flowers, shrubs, etc.
• Ability to identify the names of plants and trees and diagnose their individual needs
• Ability to identify fungal disease or insect damage and provide proper treatments
• Knowledge how to develop a grade for proper drainage
• Knowledge how to lay sod to match existing sod
• Knowledge how to lay mulch properly
• Apply fertilizer and preemergent in beds to help with weeds and plant health
• Knowledge of proper watering to keep plants and trees healthy
• Ability to dig in all types of soil and conditions
• Knowledge of operating equipment like skid steer or tractors, preferred but not required

NOTE: This team member will be under the supervision of our crew team leader. The right individual must be willing to follow direction and serve the needs of a large corporate campus. It is a team effort.
