Tree Trust’s Landscape Services division seeks a seasonal landscape assistant to support construction crews on commercial and residential projects. You will assist with plantings, hardscape, patio work, and seasonal snow removal operations, contributing to quality workmanship and on-time project delivery.
This role requires outdoor work in varied weather, a valid driver’s license, and strong teamwork. Seasonal benefits include Sick Time and eligibility for the 401(k) plan.

This position is located in our Landscape Services division which offers professional tree care and landscaping services at market rates with the profits supporting other Tree Trust programs including green industry skills and employment-readiness training to youth and young adults, and Twin Cities community urban canopy restoration initiatives.
From simple projects to complex designs, Landscape Services has the experience to complete tree and landscape projects to the highest standards – on time and on budget.
This is a seasonal position starting as soon as possible and going through December 2026.
This position pays within the range of $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience. Seasonal employees accrue Sick/Employee Sick & Safe Time and are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan
To provide high-quality, efficient, safe, and timely services for Tree Trust clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our performance.
This position is responsible for assisting the Landscape Construction Supervisor in daily operations involving commercial and residential property landscape construction, quality control, and safety. Assists in the completion of all landscape maintenance and construction projects. Projects include plantings, landscape bed enhancements, patio paver installs, retaining wall construction, accessibility ramp construction etc. This role supports snow removal operations and will also assist our Lawn and Tree Care departments as needed.
Job will require constantly working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and exposure to elements. This can include heavy to moderate noise, extreme proximity to moving equipment or machinery, proximity to electrical energy, exposure to tools and machines used in construction industries.
Physical demands require constantly moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to perform work. Frequently operates machinery and will use hands/fingers and legs to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect and position materials. Frequently required to stand and walk, lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Constantly required to communicate with ability to talk and hear.
