Job summary

JBPro, located in Gainesville, FL, seeks a Landscape Architect to lead landscape, hardscape, planting, drainage and irrigation design. You will work with the Lead Landscape Architect on concepts, layouts, detailing, specs, and cost estimates. Relocation assistance is available.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture, 5+ years of experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and Florida licensure. Join a team committed to community impact and professional growth in North Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Landscape Architecture.
• 5+ years of professional landscape architecture experience.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Registered Landscape Architect in Florida.
• Experience in the local AEC community (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with professionals on project designs to ensure innovative and aesthetically pleasing results.
• Prepare detailed landscape design plans, drawings, and renderings.
• Assist in preparation and management of project proposals, budgets, and timelines.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and government agencies.
• Identify ways to improve client communication, design and production efforts.
• Contribute to creation and maintenance of SOPs for the Landscape Architecture Department.
• Stay updated on advanced landscape architecture techniques and technologies.
• Participate in development of thoughtful and sustainable landscape development projects.
• Support and assist in training and mentoring staff as necessary.
• Coordinate with administrative staff on project-related needs and purchases.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and evaluate potential implementation.
• Make a lasting difference in the community by designing sustainable projects.
