Job summary

Next City is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our design-forward studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role focuses on leading landscape design development, producing detailed drawings, and coordinating with project teams for a range of public landscape projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a Landscape Architecture degree, and is licensed or pursuing licensure. Proficiency with Revit, Rhino, and AutoCAD is required, and the position is on-site in Sausalito, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Licensed or actively pursuing licensure preferred.
• Proficient in Revit, Rhino, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to landscape design development and construction documentation.
• Develop planting, grading, hardscape, and landscape plans.
• Produce drawings, details, schedules, and presentation materials.
• Contribute to design concepts, materials, planting, and site planning.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Participate in site visits, client meetings, and project reviews.
• Take ownership of assigned project work and support projects through various phases.
