Job summary
A specialized repair station in Florida is looking for a Landing Gear Assembly Technician. Responsibilities include the assembly and testing of aircraft landing gear components. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of mechanical assembly experience, preferably in aerospace. The position requires proficiency with hand tools and good attention to detail. This is a full-time opportunity.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace or MRO.
Ability to interpret and follow CMMs, blueprints, and detailed work instructions.
Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station procedures is preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform final assembly and build-up of landing gear components and assemblies.
Install seals, O-rings, hardware, bushings, bearings, and fittings using appropriate tools.
Collaborate with Quality teams to complete in-process and final inspections.
