Job summary

Republic Services in Laredo, TX is seeking a Laborer to safely perform general labor duties at hauling facilities, transfer stations, recycling centers or landfills. You will help with yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and operating basic site equipment.

This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and teamwork, with duties ranging from painting and janitorial tasks to directing site traffic and supporting maintenance. Training is provided within a supportive, safety‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas and fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean track on track type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick up.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences, as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
