Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced landfill gas technician for field assignments based in Montgomery, AL. This contract-to-hire role involves travel to landfills across Alabama and Georgia to perform gas monitoring, pump maintenance, and pipe fusion, with a company truck and PPE provided.

You will work onsite at customer sites, handle hazardous materials-related tasks, and maintain accurate data collection using meter-reading software. Prior outdoor maintenance or military experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel to landfills in Alabama and Georgia.
• Clean driving record/MVR.
• Prior military or outdoor field maintenance experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform landfill gas monitoring at customer sites.
• Conduct pump maintenance and timely repairs.
• Execute pipe fusion tasks as needed.
• Handle general environmental duties at customer sites.
• Travel to various landfills in Alabama and Georgia.

Seeking an experienced mechanically minded individual to develop in the landfill gas industry as a landfill gas technician. This technician will be responsible for traveling to various landfills with Alabama and Georgia and performing landfill gas monitoring, pump maintenance, pipe fusion, and general environmental duties at customer sites. Will be provided with a company truck and PPE.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
