Job summary

Cypress Natural Resources seeks a full-time Land Tech/Administrator/Analyst to support the Land team by managing data on our land software platform and coordinating with Land colleagues to maintain and expand Cypress’ asset base.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in oil & gas.
• Understanding of oil and gas leases and standard industry agreements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of dependability, responsiveness, professionalism, and judgement.
• Team oriented with growth mindset alongside Cypress’ assets.
• New Mexico and Texas experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly land obligations calendar; coordinate payments with accounting and external partners.
• Process inbound/outbound new drill and subsequent operations proposals.
• Monitor owner relations correspondence; process ownership changes and inquiries.
• Communicate with operators, partners and brokers regarding ongoing projects.
• Calculate and communicate ownership via mineral ownership reports, lease purchase reports, title opinions, deeds, assignments.
• Maintain mineral, lease, division order and well records in physical and digital form via Pak Land and internal server.
• Work efficiently with land, technical and accounting to achieve company goals.

Land Tech/Administrator/Analyst Position Description

Cypress Natural Resources is seeking a full-time Land Tech/Administrator/Analyst. This role will provide vital support to the Cypress Land team by performing various data management tasks on our land software platform and work in concert with the Land colleagues in performing duties to maintain Cypress’ existing assets and newly captured assets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage monthly land obligations calendar; send/receive and document payment requests with accounting group and external partners
• Process inbound/outbound new drill and subsequent operations proposals
• Monitor owner relations correspondence, process ownership changes and associated inquiries as needed
• Communicate with operators, partners and brokers regarding ongoing projects
• Calculate and communicate the company’s ownership via mineral ownership reports, lease purchase reports, title opinions, deeds, assignments on our assets and areas of interest
• Maintain mineral, lease, division order and well records in physical and digital form via Pak Land and internal server
• Work efficiently and proactively with land, technical and accounting to achieve company goals

Preferred Qualifications
