Job summary

Abaci Consulting, Inc. in Grimes, IA is seeking a full-time Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) to join our Des Moines metro team. This role will oversee land survey, residential site plan, and subdivision platting projects under the direction of the Land Survey Director.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in Land Surveying or related field, is LSIT and working toward Iowa licensure, and understands boundary, topographic, and ALTA/ACSM surveys. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (or higher) in Land Surveying/Civil Engineering Technology/Math.
• LSIT and working towards an Iowa license as a Professional Land Surveyor
• Knowledge of boundary, topographic and ALTA/ACSM surveys
• Knowledge of local governments and regulations that apply to surveying duties
• Valid driver's license and insured

Abaci Consulting, Inc. is seeking a full-time Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) to join our team in Grimes, Iowa. BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE & CREDENTIALS

• Associate’s degree (or higher) in Land Surveying/Civil Engineering Technology/Math
• LSIT and working towards an Iowa license as a Professional Land Surveyor
• Knowledge of boundary, topographic and ALTA/ACSM surveys
• Knowledge of local governments and regulations that apply to surveying duties
• Valid driver's license and insured

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
