Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. seeks a Land Surveyor to support civil and environmental projects by performing boundary, topographic, construction layout and as-built surveys.

You will operate GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors, and assist with survey data processing and map preparation using AutoCAD. Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 0-5+ years of land surveying experience preferred.
  • Experience operating survey instrumentation and calibration.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and survey data processing software.
  • Experience with Trimble GPS and survey data collectors preferred.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (training can be provided).

Job description

As a Land Surveyor, you will support civil and environmental engineering projects by performing boundary, topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys. This role involves operating modern survey equipment including GPS systems, robotic total stations, and data collectors while assisting with survey data processing and map preparation using AutoCAD. You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate field measurements and documentation for active construction and environmental remediation projects. Projects may include landfill closure and Superfund remediation sites, requiring a strong focus on field safety and adherence to established health and safety procedures.


Pay Range: $65,000 - $72,000 annually with flexibility up to ~$80,000 for highly qualified candidates.
