Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Eng or related field from an accredited university.
• Clear desire to learn and grow in surveying skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in the field as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

• Assist survey crews with field data collection (boundary, topographic, construction staking).
• Support preparation of boundary retracement, ALTA/NSPS, and topographic surveys.
• Process field data and draft survey drawings using survey/CAD software.
• Research deeds, plats, and public records for boundary/title work.
• Attend meetings with clients to review survey findings and project direction.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss timelines, budgets, and constraints.
• Take part in trainings on technical and professional topics.
• Meet with mentor weekly and attend office hours with CAGE leaders.
