Job summary

Qk4 in Kentucky is hiring a CAD Technician to support land surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, control, and construction layout. Office-based role using AutoCAD, Carlson Survey or MicroStation; strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate + 1-2 years CAD experience or
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field or Vocational computer aided technology training.
• Demonstrated ability to know and apply CAD modeling concepts and technical applications.
• Must be detail oriented, with proven ability to manage time and meet project deadlines.
• AutoCAD, Carlson Survey or Microstation software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive data collected from survey field crews to generate maps and drawings to visually communicate land surveys of all types.
• Set up and prepare documents for review.
• Research survey records, deeds, and map to identify property boundaries and areas subject to survey.
• Work closely with other team members and adjusts drawings/specifications in a timely manner based upon team feedback.

Education:
