Job summary

McClure Engineering Company is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer to lead design and coordination on complex site development projects. The role focuses on applying strong civil engineering principles, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

You will collaborate with project managers to resolve design issues, promote client satisfaction, and implement rigorous QA/QC processes to deliver high-quality plan sets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Manager to proactively solve problems and manage project design issues.
• Actively work with the team to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

Land Development Project Engineer

McClure is searching for a proven Project Engineer to be a key player on dynamic projects. The Project Engineer is expected to be a strong promoter of McClure's core values, vision, and mission and embody those values in all interactions with clients and team members. They are responsible for maintaining solid knowledge of engineering principles and codes to ensure all projects are completed properly.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Partner with Project Manager or Team Leader to proactively solve problems and manage project design issues
• Actively work with the team to ensure a high level of client satisfaction
• Implementation of the QA/QC process to ensure high-quality engineering solutions and plan sets
• Challenges the team to develop innovative alternative solutions to meet the clients’ needs
• Strong understanding of team's technical engineering expertise
• Ability to build trust, manage workload, and achieve team and corporate goals
• Be able to work autonomous as well as in a collaborative team environment

Educational and/or Experience Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) License required
• 5+ years of experience preferred
