Kaiya Beach Resort’s LAMUSE d'OR in Inlet Beach, FL is seeking a motivated Pastry Cook to join our French coastal dining team. You will learn and grow under an experienced culinary team while preparing foundational French pastries and desserts.

This role emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and precise recipe execution, with evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required. Training provided, opportunities to develop pastry skills in a professional kitchen.

Formación

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen, bakery, pastry department, or culinary program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of French pastry fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of restaurant production and professional kitchen operations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily pastry preparation, production, and service.
• Prepare and execute foundational French pastry components, including creams, doughs, batters, custards, fillings, and other preparations.
• Work efficiently and professionally on the service line, assisting with dessert plating and execution during service.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking and baking, including portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and properly storing ingredients.
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare fresh fruits and vegetables as needed.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes and established production standards.
• Prepare and cook/bake pastry items according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and production checklists.
• Maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, texture, and quality throughout production and service.
• Assist with daily prep lists, production lists, and organization of the pastry department.
• Follow proper opening, closing, cleaning, and sanitation procedures.

LAMUSE d'OR offers a French coastal dining experience at Kaiya Beach Resort in Inlet Beach, Florida. We are looking for a motivated, passionate, and hardworking Pastry Cook who is excited to learn, grow, and develop their skills in a professional restaurant kitchen. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of French pastry techniques and restaurant pastry production, a strong work ethic, and a genuine curiosity for learning new techniques, methods, and styles of pastry. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in cleanliness and organization, and wants to build a strong foundation in professional pastry while working alongside an experienced culinary team.
