Job summary

American Packaging Corporation in Story City, IA is seeking a Laminator Operator for a rotating 1st/2nd shift. Assist in operating the laminator safely and efficiently, while adhering to established quality standards.

You will load process data, monitor mix ratios, perform changes and cleanings, and help with machine set‑ups. Prior APC experience or laminating/printing background is preferred; strong safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous APC manufacturing or laminating/printing experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operate equipment per SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in laminator operation following safety and quality standards.
• Load process data, set up and changeovers, and prepare sleeves/rolls.
• Monitor pumps for correct mix ratios and flag rejects accurately.
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping of laminator and surrounding area.
• Complete quality checks and participate in continuous improvement meetings.
