Job summary

Belmark Inc in De Pere, WI is seeking a Laminator Operator for the PM shift. You will operate a solventless laminator, follow SOPs, and help produce high quality labels and packaging.

The role offers 12-hour shifts (4 on, 3 off) with a pay range of $23.00–$26.00 per hour and a PM shift differential of $2.00 per hour. Qualifications

• Two years of high school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and maintain food safety standards.
• Operate laminator at high efficiency per SOPs.
• Set up sleeves, rollers, and adjust tensions and machine settings.
• Maintain quality, output, and waste within standards.
• Inspect adhesive weight and appearance; ensure proper web and alignment.
• Clean and install components; assist with roller changes.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating a solventless laminator at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product. Schedule:

• PM shift hours are from 4:00 P.M. - 4:00 A.M. with a schedule of 3 days on and 4 days off
• 12 hour shifts with consistent hours, NO SWING SHIFT
• Many of our employees enjoy the rotating shift due to the days off received, which allows for time to accomplish things around the home and spend time with friends and family!

Pay:

• $23.00 - $26.00 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.
• Shift differential for the PM shift is $2.00 per.

What will I do in this role?

• Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Responsible for complying with and following all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
• Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
• Ensure product adhesive weight and appearance.
• Maintain adhesives.
• Ensure proper sleeve, tensions, machine alignment and settings on each job.
• Web the laminator.
• Clean the laminator.
• Install sleeves and assist in installing rollers.
• Install shafts in the turrets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
• Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
