Grade 3 Lamination Technician - RTM Innovation is the heart of Brunswick. See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: The Lamination Technician performs a wide variety of fiberglass lamination tasks in the Resin Transfer Molding department. Tasks performed include mold preparation for gel coaters, removing fiberglass from mold, and transporting finished parts into hole cut booth. This position will be required to lift heavy objects multiple times a day and may also include gel coating, bracing, and various PI tasks. Essential Functions
  • Maintains and adjusts resin mixers and pumps.
  • Reads production schedule and ensures parts are being completed and moved on to the next station in a timely manner.
  • Must follow all safety standards and procedures, including chemical handling standards and Personal Protective Equipment.
  • PPE requirements include wearing respirators, gloves, chemical resistance aprons, and chemical resistant suits.
  • Ability to use hand, battery, and pneumatic tools.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of related boating building experience preferred
  • 3 years fiberglass lamination experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to read and understand a production schedule
  • Requires ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manual
  • Ability to work in a hot and dusty environment, using protective clothing and respirator
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
Working Conditions

May be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area. The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs. independently and over 50 lbs. with team assistance, following proper safety protocols. Ability to work in a fast paced, noisy environment. The pay range for this position is $20.90 - $23.65, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
