Job summary

Amcor is seeking a technically skilled professional to support internal and external teams, lead cost-saving initiatives, and drive Kaizen projects. The role involves organizing multiple projects, developing technical specs, and coordinating pre-production trials to ensure production efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of plastic processes and design.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of plastic processes and design.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to internal and external groups.
  • Develop and lead special projects including cost savings, 6S, and Kaizen.
  • Promote the development and success of customer initiatives.
  • Organize and coordinate multiple projects with the ability to prioritize deadlines.
  • Develop technical specifications and documentation for customer specs and procedures.
  • Lead pre-production trials and coordinate sample requests to align with production plans.
  • Maintain safety, environmental and health requirements as per company policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support to internal and external groups
  • Develop and lead special projects including cost savings, 6S, and Kaizen
  • Promote the development and success of customer initiatives
  • Organize and coordinate multiple projects with the ability to prioritize individual deadlines
  • Develop technical specifications
  • Provide documentation of customer specifications and procedures to appropriate recipient groups; manufacturing/sales/quality
  • Initiate color match requests and lead pre-production trials
  • Facilitate sample requests in correlation to planned production for optimum efficiency
  • Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or four years of related experience Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct in a positive manner Proficient computer skills Working knowledge of plastic processes and design
