Job description

A warm and welcoming family relocating from New York to Lakeview, Chicago in August 2026 is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and experienced full-time nanny to care for their infant.

The ideal candidate is communicative, responsive, punctual, and genuinely enjoys working with babies in a loving family environment. Dad works from home full-time, and Mom works from home 1–2 days per week, so professionalism and strong communication skills are especially important.

Start:August 10th

Schedule:Monday–Friday8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:

• $28–$32 per hour (cash)

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing attentive, nurturing care and ensuring baby is safe, happy, and well cared for at all times
• Preparing bottles and pureed foods when baby is ready for solids
• Taking baby on walks and engaging in age-appropriate activities
• Tidying and cleaning up after baby-related messes throughout the day
• Washing and folding baby laundry
• Washing and sanitizing baby bottles

The family also has a friendly 35 lb Labradoodle, so someone comfortable with dogs is important. Taking the dog for walks is a huge plus.They are looking for someone long-term who will become a trusted and valued part of their family.
