Job summary

PCL Construction in Arizona is seeking experienced Laborers to join our civil project team. You will assist with pipe installation, support mechanical and tank installations, and help read and interpret drawings on site.

Candidates should have 2+ years in water and wastewater construction, be comfortable working around underground utilities, and willing to work outdoors in varying weather. This is a safety‑sensitive role with a drug‑free workplace policy.

How you will contribute to the team:

• Assist with above‑ground and underground pipe installation for water and wastewater systems.
• Support piping, mechanical, and tank installations.
• Perform layout for tank placement and mechanical installations.
• Read and interpret construction drawings with minimal supervision.
• Assist with shooting elevations and maintaining proper grades.
• Perform excavation and backfilling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Support equipment operators and assist with basic machinery operation.

What you will bring to the role:

• 2+ years of experience in water and wastewater construction preferred.
• Experience working in and around underground utilities.
• Knowledge of different types of underground utility installations.
• Ability to dig to grade and follow layout requirements.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans.
• Ability to operate equipment and tools in a safe manner.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

The salary range for this position is between $24 and $28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
