Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Laborer to support our Telecom Underground team in Orlando. The role involves loading, delivering, digging, and operating equipment to install underground cabling while maintaining a safe, productive work site.

You will communicate with team members, complete daily reports, and assist with site restoration in all weather conditions. CDL A and successful drug/background checks are required. Training is provided to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Prior experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• CDL Class A license is required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must possess or obtain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment.
• Install underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas.
• Clearly communicate with all team members.
• Complete daily production reports.
• Help with site restoration efforts.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need
