Job summary

Jansen Cable Construction, LLC, in Marion, IL, is seeking an entry-level Laborer for Telecom Underground operations. You will perform loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation while installing underground telecommunications cabling and maintaining work areas.

You will be required to communicate clearly with team members, complete daily production reports, and assist with site restoration in all weather conditions. This role offers entry-level exposure with varied field duties.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks, is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Laborer Telecom Underground is$21.00 - $22.00.
