Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking an entry-level Laborer for our Telecom Underground team in Bowling Green, KY. You’ll participate in loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment, and you’ll assist in installing underground telecom cabling.

This role requires 50% travel and offers hands-on training, safety‑focused culture, and opportunities to grow within field operations. Expect to work in all weather conditions and contribute to site restoration and daily production reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment.
• Install underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate construction equipment, and maintain work areas.
• Clearly communicate with all team members.
• Complete daily production reports.
• Help with site restoration efforts.
