Job summary

CableCom, LLC is seeking a Laborer for our Telecom Underground team in Washington. You will participate in loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation to install underground telecom cabling.

The role offers a wage of $23.00–$25.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a DOT physical are required, with benefits and a safety-minded team culture.

Qualifications

• To be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver’s license (not provisional) and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam for a valid medical card.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Prior experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment.
• Install underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate construction equipment including a bucket truck and maintain work areas.
• Clearly communicate with all team members.
• Complete daily production reports.
• Assist with site restoration efforts.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks, is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Laborer Telecom Underground is$23.00 - $25.00.
