Job summary

CableCom, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an aerial crew with installation and maintenance of fiber and telecom cables.

This role offers weekly pay, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and a safety-first culture. You’ll work with tools and equipment, travel as needed, and contribute to ongoing telecom projects across weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean record.
• Pole climber certification or willingness to become certified.
• Telecommunications labor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew as needed.
• Move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Complete door-tagging and resident notifications before daily work.
• Stock and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Use hand digging and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic per local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and on-call as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

At CableCom, LLC, as a Laborer Telecom Aerial, you’ll support an Aerial Telecom Crew with the installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials.

What you’ll do

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
