Job summary

Deutsche Post in Memphis is seeking a warehouse associate to perform physical labor, load and unload freight, and prepare goods for storage and shipment. You will move products using proper handling equipment and ensure accurate labeling and packing in line with safety standards.

The role includes assisting in displays, participating in inventories, and performing general maintenance as needed. Onsite position with potential for growth within warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
• 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner.
• Move product to storage areas with proper material handling equipment and stack and store the merchandise properly.
• Assemble merchandise to be shipped; sort, recoup, pack, mark and label materials; check freight for accuracy, damage, or infestation.
• Perform duties for assembling displays and other specialty value-added services per customer requirements.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform general grounds and building maintenance.

Key Accountabilities

• Manually load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner.
• Provide physical labor to move product to storage areas with proper material handling equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.
• Assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. Sort, recoup, pack, mark, and label materials. Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.
• Perform duties needed for assembling displays and other specialty value-added services per the customers' requirements.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Performs general grounds/building maintenance.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting, preferred
