Congruex in Clarksburg, WV is seeking a Ground Hand to join our construction team. The Groundman is an entry-level step in the telecom lineman path, performing manual labor to support crew members and prepare materials for installation.

On-the-job training offers quick advancement and pay growth as you gain skills, with opportunities to work on diverse projects across our broadband infrastructure footprint.

• Handles physically demanding construction duties
• Drives a company-provided vehicle from the yard to the job site and back.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Our operating unit provides telecom construction services, and we are looking for a Ground Hand to join our team. Groundman is an entry-level position in the line of progression for Telecommunications Lineman. The Groundman performs various manual labor type tasks at the work site to assist crew members such as loading and unloading supplies and materials, cutting brush, traffic control and assisting in preparing materials for installation. On-the-job training provides rapid opportunity for advancement and increased pay.
