Job summary

Job description

You will serve as a Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operating) for Minuteman Missile National Historic Site.

Open to the first 50 applicants or until 09/01/2026 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.

This is a temporary position expected to last one year but may be extended up to a maximum of two years based on agency needs and potential funding.

First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.

All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-09/01/2026-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT)
  2. Driver's License (SCREEN OUT)
  3. Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean and in order)
  4. Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (other than blueprints)
  5. Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
  6. Dexterity and Safety

DRIVER'S LICENSE: This position requires that the incumbent possess a valid Driver's License. (SCREEN OUT)
