Job summary

Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) seeks a dedicated laborer to perform routine and skilled manual tasks in support of operations and maintenance. This role involves assisting skilled trades, handling a variety of equipment, and contributing to valve, pipeline, and building maintenance.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule. Salary ranges from mid-50k to mid-70k annually, with progression to CDL Class B after 12 months and potential overtime in emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a current valid Class D Driver's License.
• Must obtain Massachusetts Class B CDL within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks requiring some specialized skill in maintenance and operation of equipment not requiring a CDL.
• Assists skilled tradesmen in construction, maintenance and repair work.
