Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join our Operations team on the Sparks, NV project. This full-time role supports the field supervision by cleaning the site, moving materials, and assisting carpenters as needed.

You will work outdoors, lift up to 100 lbs in some tasks, follow safety protocols, and help with deliveries. The position requires 1 year of construction experience and physical endurance for long periods on uneven surfaces.

Qualifications

• Possess 1-year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.
