Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a capable laborer to perform heavy physical work and operate basic ground maintenance tasks. Typical duties include lifting 80–100 pounds, using powered equipment, and performing facility upkeep on NAF sites.

The role requires a solid work history in laboring, ability to lift heavy objects, and compliance with security and background checks. Applicants should be prepared for a one-year probation and pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3.

Qualifications

• Six (6) month of laboring experience required.
• Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks.
• Experience Must Be Reflected On Resume To Receive Credit.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more.
• Operate heavy powered equipment performing tasks that require prior work experience and training.
• Such tasks include ground maintenance on grades and slopes, digging ditches and trenches, washing buildings using high pressure sprayers, operating tillers to prepare lawns for sod and bedding plants, and cutting trees using axes or chain saws.
• Performs general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
