Job summary

P&K Stone LLC in Denton, TX is seeking highly motivated Concrete Recycling and Aggregates Production Ground Hands to support our fast paced, performance driven production team.

You will perform plant cleanup, assist with preventive maintenance, operate loaders and power tools, and help keep work sites safe and orderly. This on-site, full-time role offers $18.00–$20.00 per hour depending on experience.

MSHA Part 46 training is a plus, and reliable applicants must be able to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Available to work more than 40 hours per week.
• MSHA Part 46 training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plant cleanup and equipment maintenance assistance.
• Assist with preventive maintenance of pulleys, bearings and gearboxes.
• Operate walk-behind and skid loaders, power washer and grinders.
• Keep travel paths clear and maintain safe work areas.
• Communicate issues to plant operators and follow safety rules.

P&K Stone LLC is looking for highly motivated Concrete Recycling and Aggregates Production Ground Hands to bolster our Production Team. In this position you will have the opportunity to work in a high paced, performance driven environment with a proven team that is both capable and knowledgeable in High-Volume Concrete Recycling and Aggregates Production.

• Plant Cleanup with a shovel, water hose, and skid loader
• Assist with preventative maintenance of pulleys, bearings, gearboxes, idlers, belting, etc.
• Assist with repair work on wear plates, rock chutes, belt splicing, changing idlers, changing bearings, etc.
• Keep all travel ways clear from spillage for safe access for all personnel.
• Clean up spillage around conveyors/crushers to keep crushing plants in production.
• Safely operate a variety of tools and equipment including walk behind loaders, skid loaders, power washer, hammer drill, and grinders.
• Ensure buildings and job sites are orderly with the tools and parts cleaned and stored properly.
• Complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate with the plant operators on issues that you spot throughout the day.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; MSHA Part 46 training a plus.
• Any other duties as assigned by Management.

What we are looking for:

• Physical Requirements: sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending (bending at the waist, lifting above the waist and lifting below the waist), kneeling, reaching, grasping (use of both hands), squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements with both hands, use of wrists (flexing or rotating with both wrists), use of both feet, use of arms above and below shoulder, work extended periods of time in same position, perform duties in all climates i.e. weather, extreme temperatures, tolerate heights, lift and carry up to 75 lbs., work in confined spaces, capable of wearing respiratory and other personal protective equipment.

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/HR, depending on experience
