Job summary

Lippert is seeking a production support associate to assist in the flow of production at our Goshen, Indiana facility. The role requires basic blueprint reading, use of hand tools, and adherence to safety rules while helping maintain inventory and parts flow across stations.

Ideal candidates will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a team, and adapt to changing priorities while meeting production goals. Full-time, on-site hours are typical and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing/industrial experience is a plus.
• Ability to read basic blueprints is preferred.
• Experience using hand tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Summary/Objective

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the flow of production.

Essential Functions

• Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company
• Maintenance of material inventory
• Movement of raw material through installation area
• Assurance of proper parts specifications (size, dimensions, gauge, etc.) for chassis completion
• Assurance of sufficient part supply at all processing stations
• Movement of completed parts from installation area to shipping area
• Assistance in repair work as necessary
• Maintenance of good housekeeping practices

• Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to measurements, directions, instructions, etc.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. The team member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position. Typical hours are Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm
