Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions is seeking a Laborer: General to join our Tampa, FL field crew. This full-time role supports underground and overhead electrical work, signing, ITS, and maintenance of traffic as described in the posting.

You will perform trench excavation, install pull boxes and wiring, and set up lane closures while adhering to safety protocols and working outdoors in varied conditions. We value punctuality, teamwork, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn, with growth

Laborer: General

Role Description:

General laborer is responsible for working as part of a crew and promptly carrying out tasks as they are assigned by the supervisor. This is a versatile role which may consist of many different scopes of work including underground and overhead electrical, signing, tolling, ITS, maintenance of traffic, grading, and earthwork.

Responsibilities:

• General Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
• Excavating trenches, installation of pull boxes, installation of electrical wire, mounting equipment, setting up lane closures, using hand tools to grade for asphalt or sod, placement of asphalt or concrete, general cleanup.
• Following all company safety protocols and procedures
• Always abide by company cell phone use policy while working
• Display working knowledge of New Employee Tool List (Laborer). Employees are expected to care for and maintain tools as needed to always preserve a complete toolset.
• Employees shall conduct themself in a positive and respectful manner when interacting with the client, the public, and within the company.
• Other Duties as assigned

Work is performed in primarily outdoor environments with constant exposure to noise, dust, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and temperature extremes
