Job summary

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston, the region's largest one-stop distributor of commercial building products, is seeking a Laborer / Driver's Helper. You will assist drivers by loading and unloading materials, assemble customer work orders, and support daily warehouse duties.

Forklift/pallet jack operation and safe handling are essential. We train the right person, walk-ins welcome, and offer a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid vacation, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is beneficial.
• Position requires heavy lifting 50–100 lbs.
• Building products knowledge and sheetrock handling is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place received materials on racks, shelves, and bins by size, type, color.
• Assemble customer work orders for pickup and orders on trucks for delivery.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack when needed.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organize shelves and aisles.
• Follow safety rules and wear mandated PPE.

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is New England's largest one stop source and distributor of commercial building products including acoustical ceiling systems, architectural doors and hardware, drywall, steel framing, insulation, and exterior systems.

We are seeking to add a Laborer / Driver's Helper to our team.

We want a team player who can assist our drivers by loading/unloading construction materials on and off our trucks. The team members will also need to help with daily warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Sorting and placing received materials on racks, shelves, and/or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, color, etc.
• Assemble customer work orders for pickup.
• Assemble customer orders on trucks for delivery when needed.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack when needed.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, for example, materials returned to shelves properly and in order, aisles are clean and accessible, sweeps as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and policies, including all mandated safety protective equipment.

Requirements

• Forklift experience would be beneficial
• Position involves heavy lifting 50-100 lbs.
• Building product knowledge and sheetrock handling desirable but not required.
