Job summary

Cowtown Materials, Inc. is seeking a warehouse laborer to organize and maintain a safe, orderly facility while supporting drivers on site. You will strap loads, wrap materials, and perform general clean-up and organization.

This entry-level role requires a valid driver's license, basic math, and the ability to stand most of the day; expect outdoor work, occasional travel, and a team-oriented environment with opportunities to grow.

Position Purpose:

The primary function of a laborer to organize and maintain the warehouse to keep it safe and satisfactory, in addition to assisting the drivers on premises when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Straps and places corners on each load.
• Bag and wrap materials depending on weather conditions.
• Cleaning the garbage
• Sweeping the warehouse
• Assisting drivers when needed in the yard.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires occasional travel; less than 10%.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain standing 90%.
• Frequently move materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Constantly working outside.

Working Conditions:

A combination of indoor and outdoor work; including warehouses, job sites, customer locations, and delivery areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License
• Demonstrated knowledge of various board sizes and manufactures, mud types, and steel types
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic math skills.
