Cranemasters is seeking hardworking, safety-focused individuals to join our team as Railroad Laborers. This role supports critical field operations including rerailing, track maintenance and repair, load adjustment/transfer, and railcar repair.

As part of a 24/7 emergency response team, you’ll play a vital role in restoring and maintaining railroad operations safely and efficiently. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced outdoor

Qualifications

• Experience in manual labor (construction, farming, utilities or similar).
• Valid driver’s license with good record.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to pass training (including E-Rail Safe).
• 24/7 availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies, attend briefings, and wear required PPE.
• Load, move, and stage tools and materials for job sites.
• Assist with rigging, winch lines, and equipment setup.
• Operate hand, hydraulic, and (if qualified) cutting/welding tools.
• Clean and organize worksites, vehicles, and equipment.
• Restock supplies and support team operations as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Work on uneven terrain in all weather conditions
• Stand, walk, bend, and work extended hours as needed
