SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a block plant laborer to support our quarry operations. The role includes shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, mechanical assistance, and lifting or pulling objects to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

We value a strong work ethic and teamwork; prior experience is helpful but not required. You’ll wear PPE, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to a dependable, steady workflow.

About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a block plant laborer. This role is essential to maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of our block operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that aid in the maintenance and operation of the quarry. Duties will include but are not limited to shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, mechanical assistance, and lifting, pushing, and pulling various objects.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Shoveling: Manually move materials and clear areas to ensure safe and efficient block plant operations.
• Sweeping and Cleaning: Maintain a clean work environment through sweeping debris and steam cleaning equipment and areas as required.
• Painting: Apply paints and coatings to equipment, signs, and infrastructure to maintain aesthetic appearance and safety standards.
• Tire Work: Assist in the maintenance and repair of quarry vehicle tires, ensuring they are safe and operational.
• Mechanical Assistance: Provide support to the mechanical team during maintenance and repair activities to ensure minimal downtime of machinery.
• Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Safely handle materials, tools, and equipment, including the lifting, pushing, and pulling of various objects as necessary for daily operations.
