Position Description:

Assist with performing physical labor and support other craft trade workers at construction sites as assigned and directed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Follow instructions, project signage, and equipment manufacturer guidelines.
  2. Perform physical tasks such as site clean-up, rough carpentry, fencing, deck and platform building, and construction waste management.
  3. Operate equipment like forklifts, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, compactors, and hoists.
  4. Transport materials and perform demolition activities.
  5. Maintain site security and cleanliness, assist with scaffolding, and perform fire watch duties as needed.
  6. Support safety and quality programs, participate in Pre-Task Plans, and adhere to safety protocols including PPE usage.
  7. Ensure equipment security and inspect tools for safety.
  8. Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned, with CDL certification preferred.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months of construction experience.
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools.
  • Ability to measure accurately and follow directions.
  • Good communication and active listening skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.
  • Reliable transportation required.
Physical Demands:

Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, climbing, and working at heights, with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals. Reasonable accommodations can be provided for disabilities.

Work Environment:

Work is primarily on-site at construction locations, with exposure to moving machinery, heights, weather, and noise. Compliance with safety policies is mandatory.
