NJLM is seeking a highly motivated full-time Laborer 2 for the Department of Public Works in Hopatcong, NJ. The role involves digging trenches, grading, cleaning incinerators, and routine maintenance tasks across grounds, roads, and utilities.

Responsibilities include snow plowing, shoveling, salting, mowing, and assisting the Water Department as needed. A valid driver’s license and CDL Class B are required; immediate resume submission to Courtny Gallagher at [e-mail].

The borough is seeking a highly motivated full-time Laborer 2 for our Department of Public Works. Under direction, takes the lead and works with a group of laborers engaged in manual and unskilled work; does other related duties as required. Job duties include but not limited to: Digs trenches and does manual grading. Cleans incinerators ; Collects rubbish and other refuse; Cuts grass, trims hedges, waters lawns, flowers, and vegetable beds; Loads and unloads trucks. Snow Duty: Snow Plowing/ Snow Shoveling/ Salting; Shovels gravel and sand; Mixes cement and mortar. Places forms used in concrete work; Performs cold patching/ hot patching. Cleans up underbrush, foliage, vines, and weeds. Available for emergency call outs required. Assist Water Department as needed working hours and call outs.
