Job summary

Sims Metal in Williamsport, PA is seeking a general laborer to support metal recycling operations. You will operate safety equipment, run production machinery as needed, inspect materials, and help keep the line clean and organized.

Major Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles or places in bins or barrels according to type, size, condition, coloring marking or other characteristics
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors and conveyances
• Clean and lubricate equipment
• Sweeps and shovels residual waste from process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or related experience.
