Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Truck Dumper to move trucks/trailers around the property and ensure raw material trailers are dumped in a safe, timely manner. The role supports continuous material flow and trailer readiness for the next day’s routes.

The position requires physical capability, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to perform general labor tasks within a production facility.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dump trucks/trailers to move around the property and ensure raw material trailers are dumped safely and on time.
• Clean trailer after dumping to meet customer requirements.
• Position each trailer in the holding lot for next day routes.
• Keep Bartlett lift tractor and dock area clean after dumping.
• Perform general labor tasks related to facility operations.
• Maintain safety as a top priority per company rules.

The Truck Dumper is responsible for moving trucks/trailers around on the property, keeping raw material trailers dumped in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensures a steady flow of raw material is dumped in order to maintain a consistent mix of material.
• Cleans trailer after dumping to ensure trailer is set up in accordance with customer requirements.
• Positions each trailer in the holding lot to ensure readiness for next day's routes.
• Ensures Bartlett lift tractor and dock area is clean when dumping is complete.
• Performs various tasks related to the operation of the facility in terms of general labor.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in the operation of tractor and/or Bartlett lift tractor preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow verbal and written directions.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Occasionally must push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
• Job functions will be carried out in a production facility which requires tolerance for high heat and/or cold temperatures.
