Job summary

Unitek Restorative Services is seeking a Laborer to assist with restoration and remediation projects, including water extraction, fire damage cleaning, and mold remediation. You will communicate with the Production Manager, operate drying equipment, and maintain detailed job documentation.

The role requires physical strength, a valid driver’s license, and IICRC certification, with flexibility for weekends/nights and on-call shifts. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• IICRC certification required.
• Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water extraction and set up drying equipment.
• Perform mold/sewage removal and cleaning.
• Handle fire and smoke damage cleaning tasks.
• Document job progress with photos and maintain records.
• Keep vehicles and shop clean and organized.
• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures on hazardous jobs.
• Report to Production Manager regularly.

Job description

The Laborer is accountable for assisting with restoration and remediation initiatives, which can include water extraction, fire and smoke damage cleaning, mold and biohazard remediation.

• Must regularly and directly communicate with and report to Production Manager.
• Water extraction and set up drying equipment.
• Mold/sewage removal and cleaning
• Fire/smoke damage cleaning
• Complete detailed documentation and take photos
• Clean vehicles and shop daily
• Wear personal protective equipment for safety during hazardous situations.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid driver’s License.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be flexible in work hours. Willing to work weekends, nights, on-call, after hours rotation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Pass a post-offer background check for base clearances.
• Pass a post-offer drug screen and physical.
• Verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• IICRC Certification.
