GeoSurfaces Southeast is seeking a reliable Laborer to support installation and maintenance of athletic surfaces, including synthetic turf and tracks. You will assist with site prep, material handling, and clean-up, following safety rules and project specs.

This full-time role requires physical outdoor work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and teamwork across site crews. Remote work possibility, frequent travel, and OT as needed are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Experience in labor or construction preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Responsabilités

• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of athletic surfaces (synthetic turf, tracks, and related materials).
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Prepare job sites (debris removal, leveling, foundation prep).
• Transport and load/unload materials and equipment to job sites.
• Follow installation and maintenance instructions to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and comply with safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines.
• Adhere to all company procedures and safety standards.

Position Summary

GeoSurfaces Southeast is seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team in the installation and maintenance of athletic surfaces, including synthetic turf, running tracks, and other related products. The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of surface preparation, installation, and clean-up while adhering to safety standards and providing exceptional service on job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of athletic surfaces, including synthetic turf, track systems, and other specialized materials.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and ensuring proper foundation preparation.
• Transport and load/unload materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Follow detailed installation and maintenance instructions to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Ensure that work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with site clean-up and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines.
• Adhere to all company procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications And Experience

• Previous experience in labor or construction, preferably in the sports surface or landscaping industry.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, power tools, and equipment safely.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with synthetic turf installation or athletic surface construction.
• Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles if needed.
