Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to join as a Truck Loader in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading bulk and bag trucks and operating packaging machinery while adhering to safety protocols. You will need to adhere to company standards and maintain cleanliness at the terminal.

This role requires physical stamina, including lifting heavy materials and working in varying environmental conditions. Buzzi Unicem offers competitive pay starting at $22.93/hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, up to 7 days a week.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety and operating instructions.
• Ability to work at heights up to 150 feet.

Responsibilities

The starting rate for this position is $22.93/hour.

• Responsible for the loading of bulk and bag trucks in a safe, efficient and timely manner from the designated silos as instructed by the Terminal Manager.
• Operate packaging and blending machinery safely and efficiently to produce quality packaged materials.
• Ensure each load is completed to the customer's specification within legal limits.
• Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures and perform work in a safe manner.
• Other key functions of this position include cleaning all areas of the terminal and grounds and obtaining daily and weekly samples.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required
• Ability to lift 75 - 100 pounds on a regular and repeated basis
• Ability to bend, use broom and shovel
• Ability to work at heights up to 150 feet
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold
• Ability to work in enclosed areas, such as, dust collectors and pump pits
• Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions
• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors for cutting grass
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, up to 7 days a week
• Ability to work alone at night, without immediate supervision
• Ability to read and comprehend safety and operating instructions
