Responsibilities

Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious, hard-working laborer to join our elite team at our quarry in Leola. Learn and grow with us. We promote from within, provide great benefits, and treat our employees like family.

This position requires heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature. Duties will vary depending on the type of work assigned to crew.

The Laborer will receive training on the plant functions and the maintenance that it takes to keep it running. This position is a combination of a laborer and a maintenance mechanic. Daily housekeeping of the equipment they operate and the area that they work in is expected. Cutting and Welding experience is a plus but not required as training would be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide variety of tasks to support the Maintenance at the quarry.
• Lifts, carries and holds building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Cleans tools, materials, and work areas.
• Uses skid steer, water truck, stand-on loader, and haul truck (training provided).

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
• GED/High School diploma or related work experience.
• Trade School a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Cutting and Welding experience is a plus but not required.
