Job description

Ledcor Technical Services has been building and servicing communication networks across North America since 1979. The role is for a skilled Laborer who will work with crew in a dynamic environment, maintaining project quality, schedule, and budget.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor such as shoveling, broom work, hand digging, pulling and removing material.
• Job site clean‑up and maintain crew vehicles, conduct vehicle maintenance checks and paperwork.
• Assist in trenching, concrete work, building fences, and mini‑excavator work.
• Read underground utility locates and ensure safe digging practices.
• Assist in installing telecom fixtures, handling cables, conduits and other materials.

Qualifications

• At least one year of related construction/telecommunications experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures.
• Electrical experience an asset.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, pre‑access drug and alcohol screening.
• Must possess and maintain a clean driver’s abstract and valid full driver’s license.

Work Conditions

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and all types of weather (rain, snow, heat, etc.). The position requires travel throughout West Virginia as needed.
