Job summary

Frontierkemper in Evansville, IN is seeking a General Laborer for our warehouse, paint shop, mechanical, welding and electrical support. This non-exempt role involves loading, transporting, unloading materials and operating basic shop tools and equipment.

You will perform cleanup, assist with minor repairs, maintain a clean work area, and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Applicants should be able to work indoors and outdoors in dusty, noisy environments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrammatic form, and to use hand tools and small power tools.
• This is heavy work requiring exertion of 10–20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push or pull objects; frequent exertion of 25–50 pounds; and occasional exertion of 50–100 pounds.
• The worker must be able to move around on foot, walk on uneven surfaces, stand for long periods, reach, bend, climb and kneel; dexterous use of both hands and arms is required.
