Job summary

SSRG - Structural Systems Repair Group is seeking a concrete laborer to join our on-site construction team. You will perform hands-on work across concrete repair, carpentry, masonry, caulking, and waterproofing, under the direction of leads and supervisors.

Expect to handle demolition, form setup, concrete placement, and tool operation while maintaining safety and quality on every project. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of concrete construction

Qualifications

• Must have basic construction knowledge and ability to follow directions.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work on concrete repair, carpentry, masonry, caulking, and waterproofing.
• Follow directions from leads and supervisors; check materials before starting; measure twice, cut once.
• Position, join, align, and seal structural components; including concrete walls and pipes.
• Perform demolition work; remove materials; dispose of debris safely.
• Set up forms and molds; mix and place concrete; finish tasks with tools.
• Operate power tools and machinery as required (e.g., concrete mixers, vibrators, pumps).
• Keep work area clean and hazard-free; report safety concerns; wear required safety gear; follow safety requirements.
• Meet daily production goals; use time and materials efficiently.

What You'll Build

• Complete hands-on work across assigned projects, including heavy concrete repair, rough carpentry, masonry, caulking, and waterproofing
• Follow direction from leads and supervisors, check materials before starting, and approach work with a measure-twice, cut-once mentality
• Position, join, align, and seal structural components, including concrete wall sections and pipes
• Perform demolition work, remove materials, and dispose of debris safely and efficiently
• Set up forms and molds, mix and place concrete, and use hand tools to complete assigned repair and construction tasks
• Operate power tools and machinery, including concrete mixers, vibrators, and pumps, as required for the work
• Complete work accurately and with attention to detail, including keeping work plumb, level, square, and properly finished and tooled
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks, ask for help when needed, meet daily production goals, and use time and materials efficiently
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area; report safety concerns; wear required safety gear; and follow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, company, and site-specific safety requirements

Qualifications

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in concrete construction or related field
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
